about a month ago, eric and i moved across the bay to alameda.  so far, we absolutely love it here.  i mean, how could you not?

1. we are an easy 3-block walk to the beach
2. no fog in sight… at least, not in the last month!
3. the beautifully restored, historic art deco alameda theatre
4. monthly flea market with antiques galore
5. uss hornet museum & the former nas alameda
6. walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, markets and parks
7. lovely views of the bay and san francisco cityscape along shoreline drive
8. island-wide speed limit of 25 mph makes for safe walking and biking
9. abundant bike paths & no crazy hills
10. classic cars are everywhere as well as over 3,000 victorian-era homes

all of this equates to plenty of future photo strolls to be had by me and e.  :)
