I am a web developer and photographer living on the island of Alameda in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am originally from Georgia and moved here in 2009 with my sweet husband, Eric.
I started capturinglight.com over 10 years ago when blogging was brand new.
I share mostly photographs here — we take a lot of day trips and photo walks since everything in California is still so new to us — and I sometimes write about other things that interest me… volunteering, trying out new restaurants, hiking, and going for lazy Sunday drives in our restored ’67 VW Beetle.
