Hello friends... Thanks for taking the time to check out my work and learn a little bit about me.

Do you have favorite photographs from your childhood?

These are mine ... all taken by my folks. Sure, they are snapshots... but these photographs show more emotion and personality than any of the posed studio shots I have of myself at that age. I love that these shots reveal how happy, curious, and ridiculously silly I was as a child. So perfectly ME.

About the Artist

Amanda Shoemaker "grew up" in the Lake Hartwell area of northeast Georgia. She uses the phrase "grew up" loosely since most days she feels like a big kid (and writing about herself in the third person makes her giggle).

Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland University College. She and her husband, Eric, reside in Atlanta, Georgia and share a home with their two amazingly plump cats.
