Eric and I — through a fisheye

I had to share this fun snapshot of my husband and I on our front porch a couple of weeks ago. This was taken by our buddy Alex Jartos, using a Lomo Fisheye. (I’ve got to add this one to my toy cam collection!)

I guess Eric was doing his “prison pose” (not to be confused with my prison pose)… which is appropriate because they went to shoot an abandoned prison on our end of Atlanta that day.

I chose not to go because I’m a big baby… trespassing, hiking through kudzu and tall weeds, inhaling asbestos, having rats run across your path… um, not my idea of a relaxing Saturday afternoon. No thanks. I’ll just chill on my front porch and drink my sweet tea… or maybe I should plant some flowers in those poor empty baskets!

  • Put some Pansies in your hanging baskets - now is the perfect time!
  • Thanks, Matt :)

Emily - sweet tea and ice cream are about the only things i like about living in the South during the summertime. You kinda need them to survive! Thank God it's finally autumn.

    E - muah! XOXOXO :-)

  • I love this! And I love you!
  • Very, very cool. If I had a front porch like that, I'd be sipping sweet tea, too. Better yet, eating a Creamsicle! (yummm... Summer in the South.)
  • haha! took me a second to find eric lurking in the bottom there.
anyhow, just wanted to drop a line and say that your photos ROCK!
    cheers-
